Tasks is an application operated by Louis, based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This policy applies to users in the EEA (GDPR) and Québec (Law 25).
We do not collect, store, or process any personal information that we can read. All data is encrypted on your device before it reaches our servers. We store only encrypted blobs and have no technical ability to read your data.
We do not use cookies for tracking or analytics. We use no third-party analytics or advertising services.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. We cannot link stored data to any individual.
Encrypted data is retained while your account is active. Upon account deletion, all data is permanently and immediately deleted from our servers.
We offer no account recovery. Encryption keys are derived from your credentials and never leave your device. Keep a secure backup of your passphrase.
Access & portability — Export your data at any time from within the app.
Deletion — Delete your account and all data from app settings at any time.
Complaint — EEA users may contact their local DPA. Québec users may contact the CAI at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
Privacy inquiries are handled directly by Louis, operator of Tasks.
